Objective Sense is a sub-brand of the fictional pop-up shop, Only Human. Within the shop, each sub-brand is based on a human necessity: food, good health, things that speak to the soul, sex, and offspring.
Forward Sense represents the human need for sexual pleasure and safety. With this sub-brand I wanted to create packaging that was mysterious and sultry, yet still fun and spunky.
Solution I illustrated each sex toy and condom using colorful patterns that represent the different sensations and emotions one feels during sexual intercourse. I’ve noticed that people often feel shy or embarrassed when buying condoms, so I added a touch of whimsical phallic humor to the condom packaging to help lighten up the consumers’ shopping experience.
