Forward I was asked to create both an evolutionary and revolutionary design for a brand of liquor. I chose to work with Rebel Yell whiskey because I saw that I could design bottles for both the older and younger generations that enjoy the brand’s products.
Objective My evolutionary design is for a premium bottle of whiskey that speaks to an older generation’s appreciation for the brand’s history. My revolutionary design speaks to the younger generation’s idea of rebellion and will also fit their cheaper price point.
Solution For the premium bottle, I put a modern and upscale spin on one of Rebel Yell’s original labels. For the cheaper bottle, I created a rugged and rebellious look to resonate with the rebels of today.
