Magnolia Brewing serves its beer within its two restaurants, but does not yet sell it in stores. For a school project, I decided to design packaging for two of my favorite Magnolia brews that I wish I could buy at my local grocery store.

Objective
I wanted to design a label that reflected Magnolia Brewing’s appreciation for history in a way that would stand out on shelves and also fit within the brewery’s restaurants.

Solution
When I visited Magnolia Brewing’s restaurant I noticed Art Nouveau ornamentation on the building itself. I decided to create labels inspired by this era that would reflect the brand’s appreciation for history and strong beautiful women like San Francisco icon Magnolia Thunderpussy.
